At this time there is no licensing body for Professional Coaching.
"Accreditation" or "Certification" or Membership in a Coaching Organizations may be an indication that a particular Coach is more accomplished than some. But it might not mean that at all.
Some "Credentialing
Organizations" are very good, and I respect them. However, many others
are simple "Pay to Play" programs. As a consumer, it can be nearly
impossible for you to tell the difference.
The truth is that most any "Coaching Certification" can purchased by any half-way intelligent person or supposed "Coach" who wants to pay for the "Certificate or Logo".
I am more of a "Leader" than a "Joiner" so I don't ascribe to any of them. But that really doesn't mean anything either.
How do you choose? I believe you can Judge a coach by their actual accomplishments in business and in life.
